Program Description: The Day Camp is an option for youth ages 8-11. The Day Camp curriculum includes learning about and engagement with the Mission Summit by participating in age-appropriate Mission Table Conversations and visiting the Hall of Ministries. In addition, Younger Youth Day Camp includes mission and fun activities including helping with a local food pantry, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, Crown Center, and local, interactive museums. This group will experience greater Kansas City accompanied by adult volunteers and youth ministers. The Day Campers will be picked up at the Convention Center each morning and return to the Convention Center in time for dinner with family, at which point they may attend the evening worship gathering with their parents and stay overnight with their parents. The youth camp participants will be having conversations throughout the event, similar to the “Mission Summit Conversations” that adults at the Mission Summit will be participating in.
